I’m behind on this challenge, so I’m just going to answer a couple this time.

Day 22 - Have you seen BSG? Did you like it?

Yes, and yes. It’s one of the best shows I’ve ever watched, hands down.

Day 23 - Have you seen her in The Closer? Do you like it?

I’m in the process of watching it. At the moment, I’ve got three episodes left of season 5 and I’ve seen… two of Mary’s episodes, I think. And yes, I love it. A little too much. The BSG episode of Portlandia? That’s me right now with The Closer. Kyra is brilliant, Brenda has joined the highest ranks of my favorite HBICs, and I pretty much giggle like a madwoman through every single Brenda/Sharon scene. It’s an odd experience so far, because I’m all about Brenda and it’s taking me a minute to warm up to Sharon. I’m not used to anyone else vying for my attention with Mary. I may have to go back and rewatch her episodes so I can see them from Brenda’s perspective first, and then Sharon’s, because those ladies aren’t making it easy to choose sides.

have you ever loved a fictional character so much that you could literally write a novel about why they’re so perfect and flawless and you just want them to be real so you can be their best friend or marry them but you know they’re not and they never will be so instead you just sob to yourself in your room

I will think of you often, just plain Brenda. And hope to see you not at all.
