Day 19 - Favorite Sharon Raydor Moment
I haven’t actually seen any Raydor episodes yet… ‘cause up until last Thursday, I’d never watched The Closer. Well, except for the pilot when it originally aired, and I wanted to keep watching, but for whatever reason, didn’t. But I’m happy to report that seasons 1 - 6 arrived in the mail the other day (squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!) and I’m now two episodes away from finishing season 1. And I love it, of course (Always been a fan of Kyra Sedgwick). Can’t wait for The Mary to arrive. Maybe I’ll come back to this question after I’m caught up on the show. Until then, I’ll just go with the moment where she shoots the guy with the beanbag gun. I’ve seen the gif a bazillion times and watched a clip of the scene, and it’s badass. Also? The first time I saw a gif set of it, I thought she actually shot the guy in the face and I was like O_o Then I watched the rest of the gifs and realized what really happened and was totally amused. So yeah, that makes the scene stand out for me. And this is more of a Mary moment, but I love this blooper too:
I love how there’s this half second of “Be cool, maybe no one noticed” and then she’s just like “oh fuck” and breaks, taking everybody with her. Can there just be a show of Mary bloopers? I would watch that shit so hard.

Day 20 - Favorite Fanfic
I don’t really have an answer for this one. I honestly don’t read too much fanficition anymore unless it’s recommended to me, because I don’t have the patience for slogging through fanfiction.net in search of those rare and elusive well-written stories. And so far, no one’s ever recommended any Mary-related fic to me. If you’ve suggestions, I’d love to hear them. I’d be more apt to read BSG stuff since I haven’t gotten to the Raydor episodes of The Closer yet and I’m trying to avoid spoilers, but if there’s any Raydor fics I shouldn’t miss out on, let me know and I’ll save them for later. Pretty please? Thank you. Thank you very much.
Ok, and I lied. I have read at least one BSG one-shot (that I recall), and it’s Bill/Laura smut set during “Maelstrom” (after the scene when they stop to talk with Starbuck in the hall), and it’s good so here: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4266878/1/ Kinda old, but I liked it. Although, I was a little disappointed by the ending. And I bet I’m not the only one, hehe.

I’m behind on this challenge, so I’m just going to answer a couple this time.
Day 22 - Have you seen BSG? Did you like it?
Yes, and yes. It’s one of the best shows I’ve ever watched, hands down.
Day 23 - Have you seen her in The Closer? Do you like it?
I’m in the process of watching it. At the moment, I’ve got three episodes left of season 5 and I’ve seen… two of Mary’s episodes, I think. And yes, I love it. A little too much. The BSG episode of Portlandia? That’s me right now with The Closer. Kyra is brilliant, Brenda has joined the highest ranks of my favorite HBICs, and I pretty much giggle like a madwoman through every single Brenda/Sharon scene. It’s an odd experience so far, because I’m all about Brenda and it’s taking me a minute to warm up to Sharon. I’m not used to anyone else vying for my attention with Mary. I may have to go back and rewatch her episodes so I can see them from Brenda’s perspective first, and then Sharon’s, because those ladies aren’t making it easy to choose sides.
